Assistant Management Accountant – Permanent – PR Agency

Part time -spread 3 days a week

£31K annual equivalent – pro-rata to £18.6K for 3 days

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant

Reporting to Finance Director:

  • First draft of Management Accounts for review by Finance Director
  • Purchase ledger, entering invoices, preparing payments, ensuring controls are followed
  • Credit cards, chasing missing receipts, reviewing coding and posting business credit card expenses
  • Petty cash reconciliations
  • Expenses, reviewing expense claims, receipts, posting into the system and payment runs
  • Sales ledger, drafting invoices in Paprika for authorisation, finalising approved invoices, chasing Debtors
  • WIP Management
  • Bank reconciliations, daily review of the bank and updating Paprika with new transactions
  • Timesheets
  • Monitoring the accounts email inbox

The right candidate would be:

  • Experienced in Paprika accounts system
  • Proactive and full of initiative.
  • Want to be a part of the family and get involved, will have worked in a creative environment
  • Comfortable with job codes and nominal codes
  • Good Communication skills
  • Happy to work 3 days a week
