What they are looking for:
You
should be bright, have strong communication skills, be unafraid to ask
questions and able to work independently when needed. You should have
about 1-2 years’ experience, ideally be AAT level 3 or AAT qualified,
tech savvy and happy to get stuck in and learn quickly
This isn’t the type of role where you’ll be stuck at your desk, you will very much be expected to be proactive to get the job done! There is a really great opportunity to develop in this role and take on more responsibility as you grow in the role
Your duties will be to:
- Processing Purchase and Sales Ledgers
- Manage accounts email inbox and answer AP/AR queries
- Process & maintain petty cash transactions
- Prepare weekly payment runs & maintain planned payments
- General filing/admin duties
- Reconciling company credit cards
- Setting up new clients, suppliers and employees in Paprika
- Train new starters on timesheets/expenses/estimates in Paprika
- Processing employees expense claims in line with company expense policy and HMRC guidelines.
- Processing employee timesheets
- Credit Control
- WIP management
- Production Accounting support
- General day to day finance support
