Finance Manager

 

Our client is an innovative and rapidly growing company that is about secure communications in a rapidly technological era. This is a relaxed but challenging business environment based in the heart of London. They work with Leading businesses as well as Public, Financial, Not for profit organisations.

Due to rapid growth our client is now looking for an ambitious and talented Finance Manager – this is a newly created role and offers a terrific opportunity to grow with the Company.

As Finance Manager you will report into the FD and manage a team of 2

 

Key responsibilities as Finance Manager will include: 

  • Production of the management accounts with full variance analysis and an eye for detail
  • Proactively investigate variances and spot anomalies
  • Oversee the monthly Forecasting
  • Oversee the income revenue recognition
  • Oversee the Fixed assets
  • Support in producing the Budgets and Re Budgets
  • Ensure that the balance sheets are reconciled
  • Be the go to person in the finance team for non-finance staff.
  • Oversee foreign transactions, minimizing exposure to foreign exchange risks
  • Day to Day financial stewardship
  • Support FD in overseeing the financial system and potentially support on an upgrade of system change
  • Ensure projects are reconciled on completion
  • Assist with the preparation of client profitability and staff utilisation reports
  • Assist Client Services and Production teams with adhoc analysis and support
  • Ensure VAT returns and EC sales lists are completed accurately
  • Prepare variance analysis and commentary for the monthly P&L reporting
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee the audit process and year end sign off
  • Support in reviewing processes and systems

Key Attributes Required:

  • Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA
  • Experience of working within a team at a similar level
  • Strong Academics
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Good Excel
  • Knowledge of Sun advantageous
