HR Manager – Digital Agency

Salary £50,000 d.o.e. ; Quickstart

Our Client is an award winning Global Digital agency – SME company based in Central London .

They are a growing business with current revenues of circa £4m and staff numbers of up to 45 including freelancers. They are looking for an organised and experienced HR Manager who will be pivotal in setting up the processes and practices of the agency to take it through to the next level of their growth.

Key Responsibilities will include:


  • Issuing staff Contracts
  • Managing the induction, onboarding and appraisal processes
  • Compliance with relevant leglisation
  • Setting up staff reviews and undertaking them
  • Setting up HR and employee policies
  • Employee hand book creation/updating 
  • Being the go to person in the agency for the staff needing support
  • Managing the pay review process
  • Manage exit interviews as and when
  • Managing staff holidays
  • Managing staff benefits & pensions
  • Influencing and improving the already strong staff culture

Talent Management

  • In charge of new hires / interviewing
  • Managing individuals training and up-skilling needs
  • Managing the social events of the agency
  • Looking at staff target/ goal setting

Key Attributes required:

  • Previous experience working within a creative agency
  • A full understanding of HR laws and best practice
  • An outward going yet considerate approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • A high degree of integrity
  • A self-starter
  • High level of organisation
  • High attention to detail
  • University degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources
  •  CIPD qualification advantageous
