HR/Operations Director

Our client is an independent PR agency – growing rapidly!

This is a newly created role to look after the well being of the staff.

This role is fluid and will develop over time and depend on the individuals skill set – it is anticipated the role would be perm 5 days a week although the company will consider 4 days a week and attribute roles accordingly.

Key Responsibilities will include:

 HR

  • Issuing staff Contracts
  • Manage the induction of new staff
  • compliance to law
  • setting up staff reviews and undertaking them
  • setting up policies
  • hand books creation etc.
  • Being the go to person in the agency for staff
  • Resolving staff complaints if there are any
  • Managing the pay reviews
  • Manage exit interviews as and when

Talent Management

  • In charge of new hires / interviewing
  • Ensuring staff moral is high at all times
  • Looking at staff incentives
  • Managing individuals training and up-skilling needs
  • Deciding who goes to what award ceremonies
  • Managing the social events of the agency
  • Looking at staff target/ goal setting
  • Looking at staff benefits and incentives
  • Looking at staff utilisation – who is doing what / when

 Senior Management team

  • Business partnering with CEO on all staff matters
  • Business partnering with CFO on all staff matters/ Budgets/ Forecasts

Key Attributes required:

  • Will have worked within a creative agency previously
  • Will have a full understanding of HR laws and best practice
  • Will be outward going yet considerate
  • Will have a high degree of integrity
  • Be a self-starter

Annual salary anticipated Circa £65K annual Equivalent
