Senior Account Manager/ Project Manager Marketing and Communications Agency

Salary range £35,000 – £42,000 PA Depending on experience – London

This is a leading Communications agency operating within a high end and valuable area having a global reach and a truly impressive client list through recent growth they are looking for a senior Account Manager/ Project Manager to join the team as support on large client projects.

Senior Account Manager/ Project Manager ensures above all that the company keep their promises. This requires extraordinary powers of empathy, communication and persuasion as you liaise seamlessly with clients, the Design team, third parties and other members of the Client Services team. You will report to the Managing Director & Client Services Director, London.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of key client relationships and proactively develop the client’s business within the agency
  • Maintain strong relationships with a number of clients
  • Develop opportunities with clients within the UK and other key regions as required
  • Identify opportunities outside of existing accounts and strive to develop these
  • Manage complex projects
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve (or escalate) project and account issues
  • Foresee resourcing issues before they arise and raise for discussion
  • Ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget
  • Liaise and report to finance department to ensure all invoices are tracked and issued in a timely manner
  • Have a good grasp of the real estate world, and their client’s business
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of internal costing procedures and client billing so we make a profit
  • Assist in managing and nurturing junior team members
  • Help to create a motivating and inspiring environment for the team
  • Give objective direction and guidance to creative teams based on client feedback
  • Strive to develop improvements and efficiencies within the Client Services team by continuing to evolve our approach to working processes
  • Earn the respect of the Design team through your ability to manage projects and objectively evaluate work
  • Timesheet work accurately
  • Contribute to and participate in the culture of the Agency

  • You Ideally will have used Paprika to raise invoices to Clients, post in estimates to allow you to track costs against estimates & oversee Time allocated to projects to manage staff resources V budget

Key Candidate Requirements:

  • You will have worked within a marketing communications agency for a min of 3 years in a similar -Account Manager/ Project Manager role
  • You will have strong communication skills both written and spoken
  • Ideally you will have experience of real Estate/ Property from a marketing / Project perspective
  • You will be looking for a role in which you can continually develop and grow
  • Degree Educated 2:2 or higher
  • Good A levels – minimum of 3 B’s
  • GCSC’s or equivalent
