Our client is a strategic brand consultancy seeking a Finance Manager to join the team, working alongside the Finance Director. Working in an amazing office setting.
This is an exciting opportunity; it is a full-time role, using Paprika accounting software and along with the rest of the agency, in the office 5 days a week, resulting in a harmonious and inclusive working environment. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level be at least a finalist in their accountancy exams and have the ability to be a real right hand person to the part time FD supporting the agency when they are not in.
Finance Manager responsibilities will include:
- Build time reports for regular review; weekly and monthly
- Monitor jobs to be set up on Paprika
- Set up of Job budget information
- Processing purchase invoices onto Paprika
- Set up monthly expense claims for staff
- Review costs rechargeable on projects and add to client invoices where applicable
- Maintain monthly invoice spreadsheet
- Set up client invoices on Word, narrative to be agreed and invoice sent to client
- Raise client invoices on Paprika, allocating to time records and costs
- Provide project support and analysis
- Assist with Monthly management Accounts and Year end
- Assistance with budget and reforecasting
- Petty cash count monthly and prepare summary of costs for input to Paprika
Skills required:
- Finance degree
- Qualified or Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ CPA
- Good knowledge of associated financial policies and procedures
- Skilled in finance systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong numeracy – Analytical problem-solving approach
- Ability to produce spreadsheets and reports
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, but also capable of working independently
- Proactive planner and organiser
- Experience with Word, Excel.
- Professionalism and ability to multitask and exercise good judgement.
- Understands Confidentiality/Data Protection.
- Be happy to work in the office 5 days a week.
- Ideally you will have a knowledge of Paprika software, but this is not essential.
