VisionFR is helping a fast paced global advertising production agency with global reach. This is a fab role for a confident Senior Management Accountant looking to be an integral part of a small team and reporting directly into the Finance Director. You will be responsible for providing financial analysis and strategic support to ensure operations remain efficient and profitable.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Management Accountant

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing detailed financial insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular financial reports
  • Analyse project costs and profitability, ensuring alignment with agreed budgets.
  • Support project teams in optimizing resource allocation and financial efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce overheads and improve cost-effectiveness.
  • Produce accurate financial statements and reports in line with UK GAAP/IFRS.
  • Oversee the preparation of VAT returns and assist with other regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with auditors during annual audits, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
  • Contribute to strategic business initiatives by providing financial modelling and scenario analysis.

The Senior Management Accountant skills/experience:

  • Fully or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a management accounting role, ideally within consulting, production, or a similar project-based environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
