VisionFR is excited to be working with an ambitious and inspiring agency. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and hands on Finance Manager who wants to add value to the business. This is a crucial role, working closely with the CFO, MD & Co-Founders of the Business. This new role works alongside and acts as the intersection and collaborates with the brand and talent teams providing financial and business support and analysis on behalf of the finance function supporting clear tracking and reporting.

Finance Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • To be the lead in the management and training of Xero
  • Maintaining purchase ledger (including expenses) via Xero
  • Supporting payment runs, bank reconciliations, credit control
  • Produce Management Accountants to be reviewed by CFO
  • Revenue Recognition
  • Support the team with supplier contracts -managing and mitigating risks associated with contract delivery.
  • To advise and support the brand and talent teams with costings and any queries.
  • To provide monthly analysis on performance and profitability of key accounts using timesheets and committed costs.
  • To provide ad hoc commercial and financial analysis to highlight and increase business profitability via cost minimisation such that margins are enhanced.
  • To provide support for CFO as required in strategic and business planning.

Finance Manager Key Attributes Required:

  • Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
  • Clear understanding of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
  • Proven working knowledge of Xero accounting software.
  • A demonstratable strong commercial and financial acumen within creative sector
  • A motivated, organised proactive self-starter with a clear attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team worker with a flexible and nimble approach who is able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • An ambitious individual who is keen to progress within a growing business
