The agency is an SME with international reach covering UK, US, Holland, Germany, France and Spain. The relevant candidate will need experience of producing management accounts within an international agency and also someone who has an understanding of VAT and Filing requirements in the countries listed.
There is a full finance team in place with a Finance Director and two transactional team members (who are part time). The role in general terms will cover Management accounting and ensuring the balance sheet is fully reconciled and accurate along with ownership of the International VAT and supporting the SL/PL when the team are not there.
Key Responsibilities of the Part-time Finance Manager
- Management accounts production with variance analysis
- Responsibility for Bank reconciliations on all currency accounts
- Journal entries for amendments and corrections to records
- Prepayments & accruals
- Prepare and report on UK and International VAT returns
- Credit control
- Provide advice and support to internal Heads of teams and producers
- Finalising and processing Sales invoices
- Support on Scheduling payment runs
- Ad hoc handling of both sales and Purchase ledger
- Review financial data for the FD reporting on age debtors and creditors report

- Xero
- Good Excel
The Ideal Part-time Finance Manager:
- Strong Communication skills both written and spoken
- Well organised with attention to detail
- International exposure to management accounts
- International exposure to VAT
- You will have worked in a creative agency
- You will be a Xero user and ideally Procim
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full right to work in the UK
You must be able to work Wednesday in the office and Thursday to Friday WFH
