How time flies – Celebrating our first 15 years at VisionFR!

I founded VisionFR in 2010 as a direct response to the challenges I had experienced whilst trying to recruit staff myself in my former roles in Senior Finance.

As a qualified Accountant, Finance and Commercial Director within Marketing/Communications for over 20 years, I often found it difficult using recruitment agencies to source the “right people” at the “right time” with the “right skill set” so I used my extensive knowledge of the sector to start my own recruitment consultancy VisionFR

I feel that my background in Senior Finance has given me a unique insight into the issues faced by those on both sides of the recruitment process, “Candidate v Client”, and it’s that insight, alongside our strong company values that truly set VisionFR apart within our sector.

After a great 15 years of working with fantastic Clients, Candidates, Recommenders and, of course, my amazing team I would like to say a big thank you to you all – thank you for your support, loyalty and belief in us. I have enjoyed “almost” every minute of it.

Six years ago I was joined in the business by Greg, who as a qualified accountant has also had similar leading finance positions in Advertising, PR and Healthcare Comms. Our senior consultants all have experience of working within Creative agencies.

So, in summary, first and foremost we are experienced Finance Personnel who now specialise in placing Finance, HR & Operations Talent into Creative, Marketing Communications, Media, Design, Events, TV production & AdTech businesses, not a firm of generalist recruiters. We are highly specialised within our sector and have a very clear focus and understanding of our clients’ needs.

These are all industries we know and in which we have worked ourselves, which gives us an exceptional and unparalleled understanding of the candidates that clients might like to interview and ensures we deliver on quality of candidates not quantity. 15 years of operating has meant that we have built a fantastic database of candidates at all levels.

For us at VisionFR whether it’s working on C-suite, Senior or the more Junior Transactional / Operational roles it’s all about working collaboratively, finding and interviewing the right candidates, screening them properly and taking the pain & time out of the recruitment process for our clients.

What’s evolved over the past 12 months…
